With the joint efforts of Yerevan State Medical University and the Henar Foundation, mentors from the American organization Code 3 Life conducted a refresher course for first aid specialists, as a result of which Armenia now has 12 internationally certified instructors. These instructors are currently conducting first aid training courses for various target groups.
On the morning of 28th September, the Embassy of India, Yerevan, organized a 5 km marathon as part of the “Viksit Bharat Run”. Over 120 people participated, with 80 to 90 students from Yerevan State Medical University actively participating.
On September 23, YSMU COBRAIN Center was delighted to welcome Professor Souren Mkrtchian from Karolinska Institute, Sweden. Professor Mkrtchian gave YSMU students and researchers a unique glimpse into novel methods of biomedical research, covering proteomics, genomics, and metabolomics, and highlighting potential applications of extracellular vesicle transport.
In the 100-year-old forge of medical personnel 1275 specialists provide education to the students, of which 1000 are lecturers, 221 are assistants, and 54 are invited specialists. 448 of them are candidates of sciences, 148 are doctors of sciences, 88 are professors, 164 are associate professors, and 3 are academicians.
