Services we provide

  1. Consultation and organization of medical care. We have the “Centre of Memory Impairment” located in the territory of YSMU Clinical Hospital N2. The Centre aims at improving the life quality of patients with dementia and their caregivers. Dementia, in particular Alzheimer’s disease, can be diagnosed at the centre. Necessary consultations and treatment of patients as well as the training and education of patients and their caregivers are conducted at the centre.
  2. Supporting groups. We have caregiver groups and trainer groups in Yerevan.
  3. Education and training. We train caregivers and health care sector experts (doctors, caregivers and social employees).
  4. Medical research projects. Clinical and epidemiological research of mental disorders among adults in Armenia.
  5. Events devoted to the International Day of Alzheimer’s disease. We organize the events mentioned below:
    • Programs on TV and radio
    • Interviews in newspapers
    • Pamphlets and bulletin
    • Exhibitions
    • Training programs
  6. Information service. Our office is located in Yerevan. We provide on-site telephone consultations and that for family members being in need of information and advice.
  7. Pamphlets and manuals. We prepare materials in Armenian, Russian and English.
  8. Bulletin and books: We distribute bulletin and books among members of ADAA twice a year.
