Young scientists contest on provision of financial support for research trips

Innovative Scientific Programme “Science Without Borders”
The scientific-academic programme titled “Science Without Borders” initiated by the President of Brazil is represented through the Embassy of Brazil in Armenia.
The Brazilian Government has announced a plan to fund over 75.000 scholarships for the upcoming four years. These scholarships are awarded to citizens of Brazil or other countries who wish to study in higher education or research institutions.
The scholarships are funded through the Education Ministry of Brazil, Brazilian Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology's National Council for Scientific and Technological Development.
Armenian-Japanese Cooperation
In order to promote the international cooperation toward environmental protection, prevention of natural disasters, issues on controlling infectious diseases, the Government of Japan implements a cooperation project entitled “Science and Technology Cooperation on Global Issues”. This project has been established in 2008 with a view to technical development and practical application, as well as the acquisition of new knowledge.
