University Statute and Scientific Council Regulations provided an adequate basis for conducting credible and transparent elections resulting in the voting for every candidate represented.

Upon finalizing the findings and drawing conclusion at the end of the year 2011, the university rector Prof. Dumanyan wished productive workings and lifelong accomplishments to the newly elected departmental heads and professors.

“I would like to state that we succeeded in a range of workings resulting in positive changes,” he said. “Each month we held scientific council session; vital issues related to our university academic, scientific and clinical fields were being scrupulously considered and discussed. It does matter what plans people make and it’s when any are put into execution – thus, when reaching a final decision, we were in pursuit of its realization. Meticulous workings are to be conducted toward improving the university academic profile as well.

Let me highlight another significant achievement we have registered in the university annals – the integration of the postgraduate educational component of RA National Institute of Health into the medical university education infrastructure - was of great importance since we started a new page in the university education separated into respective undergraduate and postgraduate education profiles endowed with huge academic and scientific potential.

The university clinical profile was as well strengthened and we succeeded apropos gaining financial resources from paid medical service as well as that being free of charge. This best illustrates the great clinical potential the university possesses. The ongoing workings will be conducted starting from February, 2012; new clinical platforms enriched with necessary medical equipment and devices will be created at the campus of “Heratsi” university hospital complex with the main goal to provide high quality medical service to the public,” said the Rector.
