Yerevan State Medical University publishes scientific journals building innovative content with an outreach on global medical community. Hence, the electronic version of the “New Armenian Medical Journal” will hereinafter be indexed in the international internet database of “Elsevier” publishing house for 2012.

The database of this particular electronic page is used by more than 30 million scientists, students and doctors. “MD Consult” information section is regularly used by 98% of the U.S. hospitals and medical schools for comprehensive clinical knowledge and world-class information.
This unique resource database provides services to more than 4500 organizations and universities in 180 countries all over the world. The subscribers and company product consumers are renowned research centers, world academic platforms, as well as private companies of Europe, U.S. and Asia.
Being included in the “Elsevier” database paves the path for “New Armenian Medical Journal” toward the recognition and acclaim and partnership on an international scope.
The urgent need in composing the “New Armenian Medical Journal” was obviously felt after Armenia had been declared independent. This exquisite journal is specifically designed to thoroughly illustrate and encompass the outcome of research activities scientists undertake and conduct; be they Armenians or from Diaspora. Given what has been mentioned above, first steps were made by the Medical University toward founding and publishing the “New Armenian Medical Journal” through its own resources. Since November of 2007 the editorial board and staff of the journal have been publishing a unique scientific journal overcoming the obstacle language barriers can call forth; a journal displaying groundbreaking medical achievements; a journal committed to providing updated and innovative content – all these have already served milestone for gaining the attention of international audience safely characterized as world-known distinguished scientists and scholars as well as reputable publishing houses. Numerous scientists both publish and peer-review articles and published works.
