A productive and important meeting was held with the Officers of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) Information Centre in Yerevan at the Medical University on October 4, 2011.
Centre Program Director - Mrs. Tine Laufe thoroughly represented the Centre programs currently available for university undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students, as well as lecturers of theoretical and clinical disciplines, physicians and university faculty conducting research. The Centre grants opportunities to apply for and acquire academic scholarships, be enrolled in academic exchange and training programs, apply for study opportunities in various higher educational institutions of Germany.
YSMU Vice-Rector for International Relations – Dr. Yervand Sahakyan, underlined that the programs are really topical accounting for the fact that university professors, healthcare specialists and students are enrolled in the studies conducted at the German universities.
Information materials and pamphlets were then disseminated among the students and those interested.
