Teaching

The instruction of academic course of Master’s Programme is carried out in Armenian, Russian and English. The two-year curriculum leads to the degree of Master of Public Health (MPH); the latter is designed to be an interdisciplinary, graduate professional degree in public health. The MPH Programme provides opportunities for students to obtain extensive knowledge and basic skills in the key areas of public health; namely in health systems management, epidemiology, social, biological and environmental determinants of health. The programme provides deeper understanding of the theories and methods applicable in public health and trains specialists to become leading public health professionals able to monitor and assess the population health, as well as to develop, implement and evaluate programs on disease prevention and health promotion.
