In 1927, 32 students became the first graduates of the Faculty.
Teaching
Duration of studies is 5 years and culminates in the attainment of a degree of general practitioner. Languages of instruction are Armenian, Russian and English. Both local and international students study theoretical as well as major professional and allied clinical disciplines. Students having good and excellent academic performance and displaying interest in research workings are offered sub-specialization in narrower fields of medicine. Learning is characterised by an emphasis on independent and self-directed study within the teaching system, as well as developing professional competencies and skills in working with patients, and mastering the application of current medical equipment and calculating techniques.

Dean's Office is the head link of the Faculty. It consists of the Faculty Board and Student Dean's Office. The Dean's Office supervises student academic, educational and research activities, etc.
