At the end of the academic year interns should take a computer test within the framework of a test set specially prepared for interns.
Only interns having fully completed the internship program are granted an access to final exams.
The chairman and membership of the final examination committee for internship are assigned by the Rector’s decree. The committee consists of the Vice-Rector in terms of professional and continuous medical education, as well as the relevant specialist from the CME department, internship specialization leaders, and leading lecturers of the Departments.
The prepared reference-book about examinations is confirmed by the exam committee. The grades recorded in the reference-book are the average of grades for the test and final exams.
In case of "an unsatisfactory" grade received during examinations or absence on final examination, interns are given (on fee-paying basis) opportunity for a period of two months to re-take the examination.
