According to the resolution of RA Government, in 1996 a college was founded at the Yerevan State Medical University after M. Heratsi functioning since then.

Education is facilitated in Armenian with the specialty “Dental technician”.
During the three year education, students study both fundamental and specialized medical disciplines. After graduating from the college, those students having consistently attained good and/or excellent results may continue their education in the corresponding faculty of the YSMU.
During the educational process, students carry out individual work with patients under a supervisor's guidance as well as master skills involved in dealing with medical equipment and computer engineering techniques. Computers, TV sets, videos and training devices are widely used during lessons.
Graduates from the college get the specialty of a dental technician.

The College Dean's office supervises educational, teaching, scientific, and organizational affairs. The College staff includes highly qualified specialists of the Medical University. The Dean's office organizes and coordinates daily work of the departments and students.
