YSMU students, who have problems with payment deadlines of tuition fee, can submit applications

Responding to questions about tuition fees raised by students on social media in recent days, we inform that according to the Decision No. 298-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia of March 16, 2020, higher education institutions have switched to online format, which was the only possible way to organize education in this period.

Due to the current situation, YSMU has offered students the opportunity to use alternative methods - to interrupt online education and continue it in the future, after eliminating the obstacles caused by the contagion, in the current format.

Students, for whom the online format of medical education was unacceptable, had stopped it according to their application with the right to recover later.

According to that, YSMU has organized the education process using all the available means at that moment.

Students, who have substantiated problem with the terms of payment of tuition fee, can submit applications through the Student Parliament until 25.05.2020.

We would also like to inform you that in the process of discussing the applications the documented activities of the students carrying out volunteer work at the events against COVID-19 will be taken into account.
