Dear colleagues and students,
Being the Rector and the graduate of the Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi, let me express my deepest belief that our endeavors will be directed to the advancement and growth of the university, thus serving a strong milestone of providing best medical care within our country and beyond its borders.
Referring to the professional enormous progress observed in the medical university, I hold the viewpoint that we all should be enrolled in our daily activities with great dedication and enthusiasm, as these qualities are the pledges of our success. Moreover, our profession requires utmost dedication as we educate and train our future physicians and healthcare professionals.
Yerevan State Medical University, being one of the oldest higher medical universities of Armenia, is still considered to be the top education institution in the region. The last decade was decisive for the university in sense that multiple vigorous changes and reforms were fulfilled in various departments and divisions having titanic influence on the notable progress observed in the university facilities. Those reforms will be persistently implemented and will be addressed to making other necessary improvements, maintaining the execution of major educational guidelines, as well as overcoming challenges set forth in the medical care delivery sector.
Highly appreciating the contribution by the university personnel and education team in the university thriving, I deeply hope we will join our efforts thus fostering the explicit achievement of common goals. My vision of the future progress comprises the benchmarks in having our unique role in the university life, which should as well be included in representing the university in the possible best way contributing to the maintenance of its internationally recognized status, meanwhile promoting the development of our country education sphere.
