Founded in 1961.
Duration of studies is 5 years of undergraduate studies for Bachelor’s degree and 1 year Internship. Students learn theoretical as well as clinical disciplines, including stomatological ones. The education is conducted in 3 languages: Armenian, Russian and English. Individual study of students under the supervision of an instructor plays an important role in the educational program. During practical studies students use dental training phantoms, as well as video cameras, videotape recorders (VCR), etc.
The delivery of main subjects is conducted in the departments mentioned below:
- Department of Pediatric Stomatology and Orthodontics
- Department of Prosthodontics
- Department of Surgical Stomatology and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Department of Therapeutic and Family Stomatology
Postgraduate education is conducted in the following departments:
- Department of Therapeutic and Family Stomatology
- Department of Pediatric Stomatology and Orthodontics
- Department of Surgical Stomatology and Maxillofacial Surgery
Upon graduation from the Faculty of Stomatology, students get a profession of a stomatologist.
Dean’s office
Dean’s office is a guiding section of the faculty, which is engaged in educational-methodical, scientific, pedagogical and other organizational workings. It is responsible for implementation of the decisions of the university administration and Academic Council. The Academic Council and the Students' Dean’s Office are attached to the Dean’s Office of the faculty. 16 departments (theoretical and clinical) of the university are included in the Dean's Office.
